Blahhh!

So, I got back home around 11 in the morning yesterday and then had to rush off to the dentist for a routine cleaning. I have been dreading that visit for a month. I absolutely hate the dentist with a passion. I'm not sure why I hate it so much because I've never had a really bad expeirence but for some reason I get really nauseous when I go there. But all went well and I was in and out in 20 minutes then I went to the mall and bought a few things :)

Today I went to Wholefoods with my boyfriend because i wanted to get something called Hemp Shake but they didn't have the exact one i wanted so i got another brand and I made a smoothie with it before work and it tasted horrible! It was super gritty and tasted like grass. I'm going to find another way to drink it because the smoothie was unbearable. I went to the mall again after work and got two more OPI nail polishes so ill just add those to the friday haul. I'll probably post it tomarrow.

I also got some chalk tonight at Target so I can color my driveway with chalk tomarrow with my boyfriend. We like to act like we're still 5 :) I hope everyone has a good weekend and I'll hopefully have the haul up tomarrow morning. goodnight!

I'm sitting in my cousin's hotel room on her laptop. I miss mine so much! Today I went on a canal boat ride :) I'll post pics when I get home. I'm in the process of doing a review for the Rimmel Nail Base so that will be up when I get home. I hope all is well! :)

Hello New York!

I just got finished packing for New York. I'm so terrible at it, I always over pack and never wear half of the things I bring. So this time I tried to bring just the essentials. I'm not sure where I'll be going once I get there so I wanted to have some options for my makeup. I brought several mascaras to do a review on while I'm at the hotel. I'm also bringing along the Rimmel Nail Base and a few Essie nail polishes to do a review on as well if I have time :)

I'm looking forward to the 9 hour drive tomorrow. I love road trips! I brought some sudoku books, magazines, and my Ipod to keep me occupied.

I think I'm going to make a trip to Mac sometime next week. I want some new goodies! :) Any suggestions?

Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara (BrownBlack) I have the black one and its my favorite! I think this was around 8$
Jemma Kidd lipstick (A-list) its a matte coral nude color that's great for almost any look. I got this for 16$ at target
Loreal Sublime Dual Bronzer (Medium) I got this for 8$
Chi 44 Iron Guard- Its a heat protector and I think it was around 14$

I think the next review is probably going to be on the Almay mascara but I won't have a chance to post it until Thursday or Friday because I won't have a computer for a few days since my laptop is still broken :[ I'll try and do some other product reviews while I'm bored in my hotel room haha :]

I finally saw my boyfriend! he took me out to dinner tonight, so that made my day :) I'm so glad I'm done with school. I'm ready for summer! :)

I don't think i said this on here yet but my boyfriend and I bought tickets to the Blink182 and Falloutboy concert which is going to be at virginia beach! I'm so excited!! Originally Elio had told me that Blink was playing with Weezer and TakingBackSunday which made me like pee my pants because Blink182 and Taking Back Sunday are two of my favorite bands but aparently Elio just likes to piss me off and so yeah Blinks playing with falloutboy which isnt that bad..but they just aren't good live and i don't like they're new stuff.

Sinful Colors Review

I absolutely love these nail polishes. The colors are so vibrant and 2 coats actually looks like the bottle color. I get these at a beauty shop in my mall but you can also get them online and they are the same price, $2.50.

The bottles are similar to the OPI nail polishes but the brushes aren't as big so its a little harder to apply but they are still great for the price you pay. I give these 4 stars :)

Rockaholic Dirty Secret Review

Dirty Secret is a dry shampoo that comes in an 6.3 oz. arosol can. It is supposed to "Keep your hair rockin' for one more day". I bought mine at Trade Secret for 18.95 plus tax.

Instructions-Spray at roots to absorb excess oils, make hair smell fresh and keep it rocking one more night..Shake well before use.

This was before i used the dry shampoo. I had my hair up all day at school so my roots were a little bit oily but it was noticable.

After spraying and rubbing Dirty Secret into my roots. My roots look a little bit lighter but the oilyness is gone.

My opinion on the product is that its great for if you wake up late or need to go out to dinner but don't have time to take a shower and blowdry your hair. I wouldn't recommend trying to use this everyday and never take a shower. That would just be gross. But the product does what it claims and you get a pretty large amount. The bottle is about the size of the aussie volume hair spray.

The problems i do have with the product is that it is a powder and so you really have to rub it in or your hair looks like you poured white board chalk dust on your head and even when you do really rub it in your hair is lighter and it doesn't look as normal. Another problem is the smell. I smells like oranges or some kind of citrus and I just don't like that kind of smell for my hair products. The only other thing that bothered me is that when i went to take photos for this review and tried to spray the product nothing came out. Somehow the new full bottle that i bought 4 days ago was completely empty. It has been sitting in my drawer and I am positive no one I live with used it. I have no idea where it all went but Trade Secret let me exchange it for a new one so i was happy :]

Overall i would give this product 3.5 stars.

Today was a bit sad. It was my last visit to the school where i peer mentor at. The kids made a card for me which made me really happy! :] I have 2 days of school left! Woooohoooo!

So, This is my first real post. I probably should do some sort of about me thing but i don't really feel like that. I just kind of want to write.
I have some sort of cold which is strange because its 90 degrees out! I'm trying to get my portfolio together for creative writing. I should never have taken this class. I love writing just not for a grade. I have three days left before schools over. I hope i can make it with out going crazy. Summer break is so close i can practically taste it. I plan to spend this summer tanning, working, and shopping with the money i make. haha. I really should start saving for college though. I try to but i always end up blowing it on make up or clothes. I'm terrible with money.
Speaking of makeup I plan on doing some hauls and reviews soon. The first review is going to be on the TIGI Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo. I bought it over this past weekend but have only used it once so i want to try it out before i give my opinion. I'm probably going to Ulta this weekend so ill be getting some new Opi nail polishes and a few other things so ill do a haul after that.
I really need to finish my portfolio. I'm such a procrastinator! x
